Dead weight will cause you some strain. Standing models are easier than non standing as hugging the weight is easier on the body than trying to hold a lying doll. Surface finish on every doll will be deceiving initially and this is the result of oiling. If you fully degrease and dry the doll, you will see seams and bits that will make the surface look bad. You will be like me and have greasy hands. Get accustomed to it, get a lot of baby oil. Polyester clothing may cause stains! All dyes are not created equal, polyester dye will not tame it's self by washing, it will however seep out when it hits the oil on your doll, so do not leave polyester clothing on your doll for days or it may stain. I made a mistake with one doll, it got badly stained so I drenched clothing and all in baby oil and left it for 2 days and it has become a freak show of color stripes and splats showing uneven dye deposits in the jumpsuit she was wearing. Check the holes before you go banging her. Most of the dolls I have are not sealed at all. The molds usually incorporate mounting for the hole designs and that means the skeleton will have nuts welded to it where it holds the mold. This leaves an opening to the area of the skeleton in the abdomen where all ends of stuff can get trapped in the gaps around the skeleton. Make sure everything gets plugged! I recommend buying some filler from wherever you can buy it or making your own if you have an old sacrificial doll. Either cut out a cylindrical section of TPE and stuff it in soaked in plenty of oil or get a solvent (currently testing ethyl acetate) to break up the polymers and make a sludge that can seal the hole... Though this is not for the fiddly or uncoordinated, you need a smooth metal or acrylic pipe to keep the hole protected as you fill it in. Anyhow, this is a relationship with dead weight. It needs care and attention or it degrades in value. It won't run off and cheat, it won't deny you, and it won't bitch, but it will show you just how much you care and may answer questions you don't want answered. Every doll I buy is approached as a gamble. The good ones I care for and the bad ones I use for what they are worth. It is a costly hobby but MLD put it in a price I can enjoy, hopefully for you as well.

These are the nuts inside where the forms get screwed in And if anyone's curious, this is how I designed shoes for my girls. Just use a 3D pen to fill in TPU around the bolt heads after snapping them on. It took a bit of measuring and some time in Blender designing them, but well worth not screwing up the floors. I'll say this, MLD has better skeletons than those cheap other dolls. I tore down one from Amazon back when they allowed dolls to be sold and that was a mess inside. Then one from a cheapo site which gave me some monstrosity of a doll that had crud everywhere in the TPE and the skeleton looked like it came from a scrap heap. The other dolls I tore down were a 100cm and they were actually harder to do than the 125 was. I do hope someday someone makes a better design for the joints and welds aren't used as much. Maybe even figuring out how to mount the forms for the cavities on the mold rather than in the doll. This might be where some of the cost saving is really. Someday I'll throw some money at a high price doll with an evo skeleton and see if it really is better. Till then, MLD has served my emotional and physical fetishes very well!

I just tore down my 125 doll because of tears in the armpits too drastic to repair. The skeleton has two nuts that are welded at the top of both canals to... I guess hold the form for the holes. What I Don't understand is why they don't plug them after. Much easier from the factory than a first time buyer finding out there's goo caught inside with crusty welds. Well, I had bought some filler/solvent from a guy on ebay and using an acrylic pipe I managed to fill the holes in on this 125, but the solvent really does a number on the TPE. The holes were filled enough but most of the stuff just poured around the skeleton. It's $40 for 20ml! Now that I have about 20lbs of TPE from the doll, I'm going to make plugs for the rest of my dolls and let it's own tackiness seal things off. A sacrifice for the rest. That's the fourth doll I have disposed of, mostly because I'm pretty rough on them. This one will let others live on hopefully.

I forgot to mention, I 3D printed "shoes" for all my standing dolls out of 95A TPU. The measurements of the bolts seem to be consistent enough doll to doll to snap them on. I filled the opening to the parts that snap over the bolts using a 3D pen so they don't pop off. I wanted to protect the floor of the shower and it actually works pretty well. Nothing quite as satisfying as rubbing sweet scented soapy water all over their gorgeous bodies.

Maybe I'm a freak but I replace the eyes with 40mm glass or stone spheres and generally take the eyelashes and makeup off. Fingernails too but not yet on the muscular. The muscular has an actual joint in the hands not just wire. Enjoy!
