Thanks she had a broken leg at the right knee and after a bad attempt of fixing it, I had given up and amputated at the knee. I went back in and did corrective surgery, and reconnected it. TPE repair was less than satisfactory. So I cleaned it up the best I could. With this done a I added the android leg braces. Now she is up on 2 feet once again, she is getting android upgrades to her arms as well. Getting excited for her. : )

I have similar issues with the weight of my girl "Bambi" She spends her time strapped down to a 2 wheel hand truck aka furniture dolly, or more precise I could call it a "dolly dolly" with a couple of bungie cords she just stands there watching me and waiting for her next adventure. I have her wearing a wrap around swim suit cover up. I use this because it doesn't require me to slip it over head and pull it over her. You just slide it over 1 arm wrap it around then slip over the other arm, then with a tie added around the waist to keep it in place. It cost less than $10 too.

Her knee weld broke at the calf side, I tried welding with cheap tig welder, didn't hold, then light jb weld, it broke, then amputated it at the knee. Finally I used combo of aluminum tube and jb weld, it held. Re attached the silicone and made the paste from the back of her 1st head, and 3M 94 primer, it is doing pretty good. I mended the front of knee first, then do the back at the calf next.

That's great, the method I use too dose a good job. Pulling it out isn't to bad because it comes out immediately after drying it up, I turn it as I pull it out to help absorb any moisture that may remain.

See how special we are ? Most guys cringe at the idea of buying tampons for their wife or girlfriend, but we buy them for our dolls ! Lol, I have not tried it myself, but have heard of that method as well as air pumps. I just use 8 inch forceps and a soft microfiber towel. That works perfectly fine for me. At least now with online shopping you can avoid that awkward feeling and stare at the checkout line.

I use them on a regular basis, nearly everyone in my family does as well. Everything comes from across the pond just like our dolls, so time is a factor you need to be willing to deal with. All orders take 10 to 15 days to receive. However I have never had reason to complain and it has saved me tons of money. Sizes seem to run true on most things. I have found that clothing for a full size doll like have the size that fits well is a small for lingerie and for a bigger girl like mine a medium maybe better. I love tight clothes on her though so I buy small there too. The reason being is dolls being exaggerated on most the waist are tiny in comparison to their hips. Also the reason I buy more dresses as they are easier to put them on and easier access for playtime also. Just my own opinion and experience too.

Very nice, it's good to have someone else who puts nice clothes and wigs on their companion. You just can't do that on a small doll and make them look that good. If you haven't checked out Temu yet , you really should it makes it so much easier buying them items on a smaller budget. Posing and modeling them when you want is thing you seem to have a good eye for already. So keep it up.

She really loves the wig and head, see her smile ! She does jiggle when she gets excited. :D !!!!

If you can find one, they make a cotton blend skull cap you put on under the wig to prevent wig cap bleed. You can also fashion one from a old white t-shirt. A single sleeve from one is just about the right size.

She looks good, and it is smart to dress her in light colored clothes like you did. Blues, blacks, red and greens are nice but unless you take precautions like setting the color garments in salt and vinager baths and washing them afterwards before you dress them will transfer the dyes to your doll. The stains are difficult to remove from TPE, not impossible, but difficult.

Ahead looks great! You know it's strange, all my life I have preferred blue eyes in real women, but in my dolls I like brown eyes. Maybe I sense damaged goods behind blue eyes now... lol 😂

Well today was first attempt to fix her knee, I made the incision on the inside of her leg at the side of the knee. I then cleaned up the area and prepared the metal area with a disk grinder, first attempt of welding was tacks, it held but broke when I attempted to straighten the leg. After grinding the area again the weld held, after a little more preventive steps are completed tomorrow, I'll seal the leg back up. Then I'll clean the area thoroughly. To prevent her breaking again, she will be moved and posed with a doll lift/stand. I will post pictures later.

So much nicer shopping for a normal sized doll too, you get to shop in the women's sizes rather than the kids section. Which is a HUGE difference!!

You could build a cabinet for this to roll back into also for out of sight storage. Which I do, so others don't get to see. It also makes it easier to dress them up. Raise them up to put on pants, lower them down to put on tops.

There are ways to make it easier to move her around , I have a hand truck I can stand her on and mover her to where I want her, just strap her on and hang onto her, these are extremely top heavy. You can also make various things to make it easier to maneuver her around like a tall saw horse with wheels, or better yet build something like this where she is supported by the neck bolt, maybe add a winch crank up or electric to lift her off of the ground.
