Yes, it's OK. But, she WILL leave girl-shaped oil stains in your sheets if they are in direct contact with her skin for more than a few minutes. I haven't had a problem with the sheets bleeding color onto Katie. But, I agree with everyone else. The best thing is to lay your girl on her pink blanket, and then wrap her up in it so that her skin can be in contact with you but not the sheets. That takes a bit of experimentation. But it's super-incredible when your girl wraps her arm around your waist and you kinda forget and fall asleep. And then you try to roll over in the middle of the night and she grabs you and holds on!

@Longbow657 The Kiara-71 is about 4'10", give or take a bit. So as women go, she's short. Also, Kiara-71 isn't completely flat. By my measurements, she is something like a 26A in the American sizing system. But since that's a very unusual size for a real woman, I ordered 30A bras for Katie and they fit fine. Although, you won't find a lot of "sexy" bras in that size and if you do they're $$$$. The Kiara-71 also has pronounced hips even though her hip measurement is about 30". That's one of the odd things about dolls in general. The proportions are almost always exaggerated or mismatched somehow. In this case, everything above the waist is proportional and everything below the waist is proportional, but the two halves aren't. From the waist up, she's about 18 (a very tiny teen like my Sr Prom date). But from the waist down, she's about 24 (like my petite post-college stockbroker girlfriend). If you like booty/thic back, that shouldn't be an issue. I would have preferred minimal hips like Audrey Hepburn, but nobody makes that. Kiara is an "innie" without pronounced inner labia. But her overall vagina size is proportional to a petite adult woman. One other thing... you can see from the photos how hair and makeup can make a Kiara look like anything from an innocent teen to a painslut MILF. And that's the fun part! Experiment. Eventually, your doll will develop a personality and you'll know what she (and you) like.

What rk105rider said. She shipped with a black wig and brown eyes, and I ordered the red wig and blue eyes extra. Katie had black hair for a while, but I think red suits her best.

@ORD_Life I understand your concern. I shopped for months before settling here. There were a few other dolls I liked, but the fact that MLD really does ship from NJ sealed the deal for me. FYI: they appear to be a small division of Roxy Display, which is a major supplier of store display mannequins in the US. Exact same address, same warehouse (I google earth'd it). Their prices are legit and shipping was fast. And I haven't seen any issues with quality that I haven't also seen in other tpe toys. My advice is to start with MLD. You'll learn more about dolls in 15 minutes by having one than you will in 6 months of looking at photos. And if the first doll doesn't do it for you, you'll know exactly what you want and do not want in your next doll without having wasted $1000 importing one from Asia.

What rk105rider said... 10% benzoyl peroxide cream. My girl had larger and darker fabric stains and this stuff got them out. It works by chemical reaction, so it takes several hours to see any effect. But once it works... IT WORKS!

Update: Anyone who recommends any other product for removing fabric stains hasn't tried 10% benzoyl peroxide. This stuff works! Two days ago, Katie's right hand was as blue as the Na'vi. Today, it's almost completely normal. There's still a bit of blue in the tips of her fingers, and I've noticed a bit of orange staining here and there. But I can live with that. I've been working on the right side of her body. Today, I applied the cream to her left side. Hopefully she'll be good as new by Monday. Here's the "after" shot of her hand for comparison.

FYI: I only spot-tested the other cleaning methods with a cotton swab on a small stripe she got on her foot. So none of them should be an issue. Meanwhile... gotta find a better gymnastics leotard for her. Katie is a kiara-71 with the dark blue eyes and short red wig. She's got the perfect build for it. And who hasn't wanted a gymnast girlfriend since 1996?

Yes. The 30A softcup bras are the perfect size for her and are proportioned correctly. They remind me of the bras that girls I dated in high school wore back in 80s. Cute and sweet, not hot and sexy. They definitely say "nice girl". I'll have to keep looking for something sexier though. Katie would like something "more mature" on occasion.

Congrats! Drilling stainless steel is a P.I.A. by any process. It's both super-hard and super gummy. I've done it in a lathe and it sux. I'd call this a definite win!

UPDATE: Following a "powder treatment", the hair-sticking issue went away. So did the stickiness. Though she currently leaves my hands coated with "cake mix" (oil+corn starch powder). I'm waiting for that to wear off. Just like a real woman... so much maintenance. Katie tried the red wig yesterday. It sheds less than the black one, and it's even cuter! She's got the skin tone and coloring of a natural ginger, so it really works on her. I impulse-bought a t-shirt and skirt for her as well. Both US Girls' size 10-12. Both were a little too big. She probably could have used an 8-10. The t-shirt may shrink though. And the skirt had a hidden adjustable waistband. So everything looks good on her. Still waiting for delivery on the bras. That will be the acid test.
