So I have the 145cm Jennifer with the standable feet and keep seeing a good option for cleaning the exterior of the dolls is in the shower, I'm curious if the standing feet (since they're screws on the bottoms) would cause any damage to the tub or if the water from the shower itself would cause an issue with the screws, even more so since I have hard water where I live and our building has a water softener (it still leaves nasty yellow stains all over the tub and shower which I have to clean at least once a week or it starts turning a bright orange.) Given how much an issue staining can be with TPE, I'd rather not take the risk without getting some other ideas and/or possibly hearing some past experiences. (New apartment btw, old one didn't have hard water so it wasn't such a problem.)

Yes, it’s probably better to get a wide shallow plastic tub, actually one of those containers to put clothes in underneath your bed.
Just something to catch the small amount of oil, water and powder.
I would advise against tub baths with dolls, especially if you have one of those big ass old fashioned tubes like I do. my bathroom is very limited with space, so picking up a doll that feels like it's over 100 lbs and lifting in a tight space is very problematic. if you are not careful you can damage the doll.
A full shower with water is really not necessary, clean with oil and soft foam, washing the foam off as you go.
Then rinse with fresh clean water, buy some distilled water if your really concerned about the hard water.
Yes the screws and weight of the doll will damage the tub most likely.
fold a full sized towel up four times to stand her on.
also, put a towel over the edge of the tub to protect it.
