Please excuse my ignorance on the topic. I assume the only options to display a non-standable are lying down or sitting?
I guess standable means that it has significant steel structure in the feet to balance on the feet and to stand for long periods of time like a mannequin?
I don't want to damage my 100cm who isn't a standable. Thanks đ
Unless you want to display her hanging up & headless, as the hook uses the same threaded hole as the head attachment bolt. Standing feet have 3 visible metal bits on each foot- one in the heel and two in the ball of the foot.
Also, to add to my previous writing- standable dolls have stiffer hip, knee, and ankle joints to be able to hold a standing position.
I would like to further add that all of the dolls I have from this manufacturer has standing feet.
and I personality like the rather large Phillips head screws that they use.
This is one of the many details that I have noticed that sets these dolls apart from the other âinexpensiveâ ones.
Just my 2¢...
I agree the member photos of the standable dolls are impressive. Unfortunately my 100cm is relegated to the bed so far. Not having a standable makes it hard to dress and pose.
I wish the description would have been more specific with this option not being available. It does say "Fully poseable" but that does not include stsndingđ
@jpop379 I agree, they need better descriptions and more photos to show all parts of each doll.
