I have Julia "58" and have used her maybe a dozen times. Ever since day one I've had an issue with the hips being EXTREMELY tight and hard to move, the left in particular. I have never been rough or pushed the limits of her flexibility. Well... Earlier this week I went to move her from a standing position to a simple sitting position to try a new corset I got her and the right, while very stiff, moved but the left SNAP!!! Now she has a dangling leg. I'm not sure if it dislocated or actually snapped framework. I've tried feeling through her skin but just don't know. Has anyone preformed this type of surgery? Have any suggestions on where to cut and how to seal it back up? I'm assuming I can't "return her to the factory" for repairs or replacement.... I am a handy guy so I would rather try then to just scrap her. Anywhere I can find a picture or diagram of the skeleton so I can visualize it by feel and find out if something is just out of socket or actually broken? If it is snapped I figured I could use a piece of flatbar/pipe depending on what broke and a combination of drill/tap and JB Weld to fix but I don't really want to cut her open if I can't put her back together. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!! Who knows... maybe this thread will help guys years in the future. Thank you in advance for any help and suggestions you all have!

I had the same thing with mine except on the right side. tried to fix her. Not much I can do with her now except patch her back up after I put in a sitting pose.
Have something similar. From the feel, skeleton broke around where left kidney should be. Haven't had a chance to investigate further though. Plan to do exploratory surgery when time permits. ;)

Here is a picture from inside their factory, the only one I have that shows the skeletons:
