I have read that this is common for these dolls: The lower joints, specifically the hips and legs, are really tight, thus leading to them seizing up and sometimes creaking. Boxerâs legs didnât do this when I first got her, but it seems like sheâs now joining the Creaky Joints Club, lol. Her right leg, ironically, was the first to start seizing up and creak (even tho this leg was easy to move when I first got her, wasnât tight at all. The left was- and still kinda is- super tight). Anyone else have this problem where both legs will creak when moving them? She only seems to creak when Iâm moving them up and down, not when Iâm opening or closing them, so I try to be super careful and be patient whenever they seize up on me. Iâm not gonna lie, when her right leg starting doing this, I genuinely got concerned, thinking that I broke her or something, until I remembered a post that talked about the tight lower joints. đ

My 156cm Girl, Katya, has had the same issue, Creaking and Stiffness, for as long as Iâve owned her ( 2 Years, nowâŚ) With her, itâs opening and closing her Right Leg; Up and Down remain smooth and easy.
What has worked for me, is, using the greatest length of her legs, possible, when moving them (grabbing down by her Ankles, to have the most Leverage), and also finding that âSweet Spot,â for
moving it, in a particular direction. Even if it is stiff, moving up and down, for exampleâŚthere usually is one spot where it will move pretty freely. It just may take a little playing around with her, to figure it out. Just my two centsâŚ
@ArtiSan09As Kevin said, just be careful. It happened to me...
But, all's better now.
Be very careful. Jenny is on her third body now because the legs snapped after becoming creaky. Between bad welds and over tightened joints these skeletons aren't the greatest.
