I've been kind of wondering if anyone has worried about putting baby/talcum powder on the dolls. Especially after Johnson & Johnson lost a suit about their powder having caused cancer in long time users. Not to sound gross, but I would assume most doll owners kiss (or lick) their dolls on some level. The people in the suit weren't ingesting it at all, so that makes the doll situation a bit more intense. But, most doll manufacturers/sellers and veteran owners say to use it all the time. Just kind of wondering. Thoughts?

I USE CORN STARCH easiest way to apply the type of powder you prefer is grab an old knit sock and dump your choice of powder into the sock and tie off the open end then tap the sock onto t a counter top or floor untill the powder begins to dust through the fabric on the sock and then just tap the sock onto the doll until you have you desired amount or it coated to you liking
I have gotten so used to my dolls that I don't really use anything any more unless they are being stored or on some special circumstances, I have spent so many countless hours over the last few years caressing and embracing my beautiful girls that their tackiness now feels normal to me, I tried a few different products as well in an attempt to stay organic, I even use coconut oil for lube and fun times but at the end I simply got used to the TPE tactile feeling and now they feel pretty normal to me, the brain is easier to trick than what sometime we expect 😉
Corn starch. Works great on dolls, and also thickens gravy.
I use corn starch.
I use a cornstarch based baby powder with aloe, so no talc. It's all natural ingredients, so the miniscule amount I ingest is not a worry to me.
You can find it in Walmart's infant department. It's made by Johnson's.
