Talcum powder and dolls

Wouldn't coconut oil be a bit acidic for the tpe?

@Camera's Eye I do not know if it is but I have been using it on my dolls for about 2 years or more and have not notice any mayor issues, it does have different properties that that of regular water base lubes obviously. The main reason I sporadically use talcum powder only is for health reasons, long term exposure is not recommended and periodic ingestion is definitely not good, I also like to caress my dolls with my lips and tongue etc... so in order to avoid ingestion I tried corn starch, powder sugar, baking soda and other items but ended up deciding to mostly not use anything, that is just me though I know most owners prefer their ladies to be smooth.

The main reason I started using coconut oil as lube is for it's antibacterial and antifungal properties, I quickly notice that no mater how good you clean a dolls orifices and how good you dry them there is always a chance some moisture will remain and even spending a considerable amount of time and effort to thoroughly clean and dry everything there is also the porous issue with TPE, because TPE absorbs what it comes in contact with specially liquids, that means that whatever I put on the doll over time will slowly get absorb (that is how TPE stains happen), so in the past when I used mineral oil to lube their whole body even after a good cleaning there was still some mineral oil soaked into the TPE, likewise I notice that a little bit of water based lube would soak in the cavities areas which is ok but decided to switch to coconut oil that way when the coconut oil soaks into the TPE the oil the remains after cleaning will be helping fight bacterial and fungus growth and I can kiss and lick my dolls bodies to my hearts content.

If anyone is considering giving coconut oil a try here a few thigs to consider:

1) Coconut oil it only liquid at warm temperatures, it turns in to a paste when it gets cooled and even hardens in the cold, in the winter you may need to warm it up first.

2) There a many kinds of coconut oils and if you do not like the taste or do not want your doll to taste or smell like coconut then make sure to get the odorless and tasteless kind.

3) Coconut oil is less viscous that most water based lubes when it warms up pretty good which is the case during fun times so more copious and repeated applications are needed to keep the friction down.

4) If a film of coconut oil is left inside the dolls cavities or on the TPE surface when it cools down that film may "harden" if the room temperature is cold enough leaving a wax-like coating on your doll, this has never damage the TPE on my dolls because is less than paper thin and very light but while it protects your doll it also makes the TPE look a bit cloudy and shiny almost like she got powdered after a good mineral oil cleaning.

5) There are water base lubricants that I have tried that work better as lubricants than coconut oil so it is a give and take of sorts for me the organic option and antibacterial and antifungal properties are worth the compromise but everyone's circumstances and preferences are different.
