I was worried. If you've been following along, Aredhel came to me with a foxtail buttplug. I thought the plug part might be too long, and I was worried it might be injuring her on the inside.
Then there's the possibility of a hole at the end of the vaginal canal left over from the manufacturing process...
Darn, but I was curious. I bought an endoscope on Amazon for $42.99. Cool huh? So what did I find?
Here is what I found at the end of the anal canal:
Pretty well sealed, I think. No damage from the foxtail, so she can continue to enjoy it.
How about the front end? What's at the end of the vaginal canal?
That is one big, ugly hole at the end of the canal. That will definitely let moisture into the inside if I'm not careful. So what's in there?
That was difficult to get a clear picture of, but if I'm not mistaken, that's a weld. That's the metal at the base of her skeleton. It is not a pretty weld, and that's even more worrisome.
The moral of the Endoscope Story? I'm not going to lie. It was definitely some good kinky fun! The bonus is, I won't be prosecuted for it! 🤣
On a more serious note, I've read where other's (I apologize, I can't remember who suggested it) use female condoms to make sure nothing wet gets inside and starts rusting things. If you let your mental wall down and start thinking about what all could be ejected into the inside of the doll and attach and start rotting her out from the inside? Whoa. That's just freakin' darn nasty. Probably unhealthy for you and your girl as well as just being darn nasty.
Solution? Ya'll tell me. Darn if I know, I'm new here! I'm not able to melt a TPE plug. I'm into 3d printing. A 3d printed plug? There's really no way to make it watertight.
I'm a pretty imaginative man. I've considered stuffing all kinds of things up there, but it's got to seal, otherwise, it's wasted effort.
The female condom seems to be the best option. Please, somebody chime in. I was done with condoms when I decided to have a child with my ex. That's old history. Aredhel is my doll. Who the heck wants to use any kind of condom?
Just an idea I might have to mod a doll also, but glue or oil and a rubber ping pong ball? Worth trying, maybe oil would dry and somewhat glue it in place to avoid tpe/superglue in cavity canal area?
These are the nuts inside where the forms get screwed in
And if anyone's curious, this is how I designed shoes for my girls. Just use a 3D pen to fill in TPU around the bolt heads after snapping them on. It took a bit of measuring and some time in Blender designing them, but well worth not screwing up the floors.
I'll say this, MLD has better skeletons than those cheap other dolls. I tore down one from Amazon back when they allowed dolls to be sold and that was a mess inside. Then one from a cheapo site which gave me some monstrosity of a doll that had crud everywhere in the TPE and the skeleton looked like it came from a scrap heap. The other dolls I tore down were a 100cm and they were actually harder to do than the 125 was.
I do hope someday someone makes a better design for the joints and welds aren't used as much. Maybe even figuring out how to mount the forms for the cavities on the mold rather than in the doll.
This might be where some of the cost saving is really. Someday I'll throw some money at a high price doll with an evo skeleton and see if it really is better. Till then, MLD has served my emotional and physical fetishes very well!
I just tore down my 125 doll because of tears in the armpits too drastic to repair. The skeleton has two nuts that are welded at the top of both canals to... I guess hold the form for the holes. What I Don't understand is why they don't plug them after. Much easier from the factory than a first time buyer finding out there's goo caught inside with crusty welds. Well, I had bought some filler/solvent from a guy on ebay and using an acrylic pipe I managed to fill the holes in on this 125, but the solvent really does a number on the TPE. The holes were filled enough but most of the stuff just poured around the skeleton. It's $40 for 20ml! Now that I have about 20lbs of TPE from the doll, I'm going to make plugs for the rest of my dolls and let it's own tackiness seal things off.
A sacrifice for the rest. That's the fourth doll I have disposed of, mostly because I'm pretty rough on them. This one will let others live on hopefully.
Yikes! I remember FP talking about how the vaginal cavity isn’t properly sealed, but I was thinking of, like, a small opening. Nothing like that. Makes me glad that I’m a woman and don’t have to worry too much about getting fluids that far down, lol.
What you can do is fashion a plug out of any TPE. Say about a half inch ball using scissors. it doesn’t have to be perfect, you can use a heat gun to smooth it out but not really necessary.
put a little bit of mineral oil on it to help insertion using a pair of long hemostats while looking at it with the endoscope.
The mineral oil will soak in and the plug will naturally seal.
As someone who has used female condoms with their lady I can tell you it is not as bad as it sounds. I use a little bit of vaseline to insert it (using anything like water, saliva, lube, etc will require cleaning defeating the purpose of the condom imo.). A little bit of lube in the condom and it isn't perfect but in the midst of playtime you really don't notice. Well, I don't anyways... I am usually way to in the moment for that. Once your done you can take the condom out, rinse it out, and let it dry. I turn it inside out in the sink, clean it and let it hang on a towel in the bathroom. Then it's cuddle time! No worries that way and I haven't had any problems yet. If you are curious about leaving it in for a second or third round later you can, but I recommend not leaving it in dirty overnight.
