Has anyone purchased the 100cm dolls? My main reason was the size as my place hasn't got a great deal of storage space. Wondering how to display? Similar to a poseable mannequin? Laying on the bed etc.
Don't want to damage it by displaying incorrectly. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
Has anyone tried bjd clothing on “Emma” yet? All measurementa seem pretty close except the hips where Emma is about three inches bigger.
I already bought a couple outfits that are actually made for an 18” doll but should work, I’ll post pics when my 63cm doll arrives this week.
the one thing I’m having trouble finding is panties and im wondering if anyone had found what will fit over her hips as American girl and the bjd dolls both have smaller hips
The 63cm doll is perfect for cosplay and folks that like to design the look of there dolls for display. I'm sure it is much easier to find interesting clothing and designer styling than for a 100cm.
I know you're asking about the 100cm, but I ordered the 63 cm SD-63F on Monday, She arrived on Wednesday. And she is perfect size.
I've been doing research and trying to figure out clothes and other customization. The 63 cm is the same size as the commonly known SD 1/3 BJD sized dolls. And there is a ton of clothing and wigs, etc. out there.
The clothing size for 100cm dolls are tops Girls S 5-6 and skirts 6-9m (The waist size is 20') 😐
My first/last doll was a 110cm from another company. While she was easy to store and move around, her small size made her a bit awkward to "use" also, I found it hard to find clothing that would fit, mostly had to go with toddler sizes - except for the chest... again, awkward. My next one will be at least the 125cm from MLD. She seems to be well built, and a bit heavier.
They sold out & were restocked at least once, but whether any forum members bought one is the question...
Didn’t get a 100cm, but for storage, a standing doll could be stood up in a closet gently leaning against a wall wrapped in the blanket it came with.
Or stored lying down on a memory foam pillow covered in the blanket.
Always store the doll in a neutral, relaxed position in any case.
