    Small sized dolls...

    in General Discussions

Has anyone purchased the 100cm dolls? My main reason was the size as my place hasn't got a great deal of storage space. Wondering how to display? Similar to a poseable mannequin? Laying on the bed etc.

Don't want to damage it by displaying incorrectly. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone tried bjd clothing on “Emma” yet? All measurementa seem pretty close except the hips where Emma is about three inches bigger.

I already bought a couple outfits that are actually made for an 18” doll but should work, I’ll post pics when my 63cm doll arrives this week.

the one thing I’m having trouble finding is panties and im wondering if anyone had found what will fit over her hips as American girl and the bjd dolls both have smaller hips

Dan I'm thinking about getting Emma 63cm doll for my very first doll. Could you post up some pics of your 63cm please. Thanks so much

The 63cm doll is perfect for cosplay and folks that like to design the look of there dolls for display. I'm sure it is much easier to find interesting clothing and designer styling than for a 100cm.

I know you're asking about the 100cm, but I ordered the 63 cm SD-63F on Monday, She arrived on Wednesday. And she is perfect size.

I've been doing research and trying to figure out clothes and other customization. The 63 cm is the same size as the commonly known SD 1/3 BJD sized dolls. And there is a ton of clothing and wigs, etc. out there.

That's okay, this is a small dolls discussion. Also, you may be the first to talk about the smallest. The more reviews that get posted and questions that get answered, the more of a resource this forum becomes for all of us.

Would you post a picture once you have completed her look. I'd love to see how everything goes and what wig style you choose. I think the 63cm has the best possibilities for not just a sex doll.

We do all have in common that we "love" dolls some of us are not just in it for sex. 😉

@jpop379 I'd honestly be surprised if anyone would be into these for sex only. They are so nice to look at, and I will certainly try cuddling with one once I buy a doll.

My first/last doll was a 110cm from another company. While she was easy to store and move around, her small size made her a bit awkward to "use" also, I found it hard to find clothing that would fit, mostly had to go with toddler sizes - except for the chest... again, awkward. My next one will be at least the 125cm from MLD. She seems to be well built, and a bit heavier.

@alexchangander yeah, it was the head in the pics. The thing you have to remember is photographers know how to do a good job of getting just the right angles or tilting a head a little bit to change the look. To me looking at it from straight on forward it was super tiny. I'm no photographer. So I wanted a look i could live with.

@alexchangander Looking at my invoice it says "Item SDH-C22, Doll Head #C22 for doll 100-125cm" model #SD100F I'm just going by the paper work with the item and the facial and wig similarities with the photos on the 125cm dolls.

@jpop379 I'm not arguing that it is different or anything. I'm just saying, that for me personally, I felt like the head was too small. I feel like it is very cute and will use it as a wig stand, but I couldn't be comfortable with it on the doll. If I simply used it for photography or something like that, it would be a different story. Everyone has their own preferences. If you like the head, then great! I'm not passing judgment. I'm glad you like the head on your doll.

They sold out & were restocked at least once, but whether any forum members bought one is the question...

I've seen a lot of 100cm doll unboxing on youtube. It seems most buyers purchase them as a starter doll. Ability to store it away and to test if the product is something they want to do.

I'm looking forward to Thursday when she arrives. I purchased for companionship. With benefits. I just hope I know what is involved to keep it up and not ruin it. 🙄

Didn’t get a 100cm, but for storage, a standing doll could be stood up in a closet gently leaning against a wall wrapped in the blanket it came with.

Or stored lying down on a memory foam pillow covered in the blanket.

Always store the doll in a neutral, relaxed position in any case.

@hammertime83 I wanted to respond to this sooner, but I have an outside life. Unlike others, I don.t have time to spam the forums over and over again.

Having a bad customer service experience really sucks. It would have been helpful to actually know what happened. But I think we're beyond that right now. I don't speak for everyone, but I really wouldn't care at this point.

So far I've received eight separate messages from the forums with a copy of your message. And its the same message over and over again. Plus the images you're trying to attach are coming up blank. So your message is nothing more than spam. Idiotic spam.

And so far, the only thing you've really conveyed is the fact that you're a creepy ass man child who breaks his toys, and then throws a temper tantrum when mommy and daddy won't buy him new ones.

All you needed to do was post a single review here or on google.

Please stop posting or just go away.
