@geoffs Thought I'd share what I mean with sizing down using something like KAM snaps.
So I only see it working when the sides are a single elastic type strap.
So here is a finished product. Was way too small for my wife and a little too loose for my small doll.
So what I did was fit it best I could to my doll, mark about where I'd have the snaps installed on the one side then took it off, measured so as to put the snaps in the same spot on both sides.
Once I did and fitted it, the bottom crotchless area was still sagging down in a non-sexy way. So did the same in the crotch area seen in the middle of the above photo.
I bought a kit from ilikebigbuttons.com where she was selling these big grab bags of random buttons (not seeing those for sale right now). Ended up with more than I can use in a lifetime just to get free shipping.
Grab bags of random sizes and colors. KAM tool and small ice pick on the right. I bought a bag of small clear buttons. Also started pulling out all black buttons into a zip-lock bag.
So now it fits and it's way easier to put on and take off.
I just drape it over then pull it up and get at least one snap buttoned.
Anyway there's one idea for smaller dolls or even how to fix some otherwise too loose articles on the medium to larger dolls. Either way, makes it's way easier to put on and take off.
Yeah sure, so one thing I ran into with my small doll is wanting skimpy lingerie and not being able to find anything quite small enough. I had a miss-shipment from a vendor that i tried buying for my wife where the sent small and it was still barely too big for my small doll. What I did was buy a big box of assorted kam-snaps and the pliers to install them. cut the elastic on the sides and all of a sudden not only do they fit my dolll, but are easier to put on and take off. Even swim suites that tie with straps are made easier by installing the kam-snaps. Anyway it's easy and cheap.
