My 143 got home a few days ago, although there were some hiccups, I feel that it worked out just fine.
Her name is Roxanne!
Had to card her as soon as I opened the box! Luckily she had her drivers license on her!
This I don’t think it was MLD’s fault really, but still good to note for future logistics. I guess rough handeling could have done this?🤔
It was actually really concerning that I was able to extract the doll entirely from this opening without cutting any tape! Oh well what’s done is done. After sliding her out I actually found no reason to believe she was unpacked while in route.
Yeah, you can see why she gets carded a lot! Seriously though, she is 143cm tall (verified), and also, this is the USA!🧐
She’s the exact doll that’s shown in the stock pics.
Super cute! But I’m glad I asked for her ID though!
She still had her ID badge from her previous employer.
Here’s another picture of her, I love how easily she poses.
Ok, now I did end up having a moderate problem with the right shoulder.
After positioning the arm the two times necessary for these pictures, it went completely limp.
Kind of a shame because all the other joints are perfectly functional and properly tensioned.
With this problem aside, this doll is a reasonably decent quality doll, very soft TPE to effect that the A cups actually still jiggle to a degree, hinged wrists, beautiful face, and all the nice goodies that come with these dolls.
There are some compression marks on the backside from storage but im starting to get picky.
So bottom line?
I give this one four stars.
Some may give a lower rating for this sort of thing.
But I didn’t for two reasons;
1: I can’t ignore the possibility of the shoulder failure is a result of the possible rough handling by the shipping carrier.
2: MLD does have a Customer service team, and they do their job.
I was given a partial refund for this issue and with the cost of shipping, production and even the service I received after the sale, I feel it was more than fair.
Plus I’m confident I will be able to repair this, I’ve done it before, trust me.
