    No one here.

    in General Discussions

It seems that not much action here anymore. I think it is because all you see now is how many problems people are these dolls. I have bought 5 dolls from here and have one in my cart, but I can't see buying anymore because of how bad the quality has gotten. Each one that I have bought gets worse than the one before. I have two 135cm and they both just stand in the corner because I can't bend their legs. One I have not tried to use at all but I tried to play with the other one with no sucess. I just can't get her legs to go up or down. It's hard to have play time when you can't move her legs. I thank they need to have better quality control before they lose everyone.

I know they have good prices but if you can't use them price don't matter. I would rather pay a couple hundred bucks more for something I can use for a longer time than just have my girls just standing there making me want to play when they can't.

Buy the way I have an unused 135cm that I would like to adopt out.

Thanks for taking time to read this. I am not knocking MLD just my thoughts. I would like to hear your opinion.

Regarding adopting out your unused 135cm Doll..about the best you can hope for, is someone covering her Shipping Costs, asking on this Forum…as most folks know how affordable she is, just buying her new, from MLD…and, shipping a Doll is more expensive than most folks realize…about $150.00 and up…

Regardless, these dolls are still one hell of a deal. Other companies are charging in excess of $2000 for similair models as on here. They also break sometimes prematurely. Spines and hips and tpe tears same like these. Sure the skeletons may not be the best or maybe older designed ones not as good as newer ones. Lots of times it is just the luck of the draw. Some people here have had their dolls for a couple years and zero problems. Others have them break down in a month or less. Quality control can always be better but it’s everywhere not just here. Like i said this place still delivers a beautiful product at one hell of a price compared to other companies that have even spiked their dolls prices over the last few years. Crazy to spend $2000 on a doll and she breaks at the spine the same way one on here might. Just my two cents worth. Good luck to everyone and it’s a good idea to figure out ways to do your own repair if you can. I have had dolls from here and even a higher end one and the higher end doll wound up needing her wrists and ankles fixed and she didn’t even get used for sex. lots of pics and poses and the joints just failed over a few months which i found to be ridiculous. In the process of trying to figure out how to fix her i learned how to make proper incisions in the tpe as well as sealing them back up. Also found out how to smooth out skin areas with heat and a metal tool with baby oil. Amazed myself at how good i repaired them. I was worried i would butcher the doll but i was able to make her better than before. I understand not everyone would want to try repairs like i did but in that case you have to hope the company will work with you on a replacement body or partial refund. Like everything else, it’s a learning experience with dolls and the issues that can arise with them like breakage. Good luck guys.

The majority of my Dolls, all MLD/LDD Dolls, are at least 2 years old, and still going strong… A few of them, have a stiff Joint, but still movable… Of course, having more than one Doll, allows me to rotate my attentions, among the Ladies, which I’m sure, contributes to their longevity… I have had two Dolls, that I had to toss out, due to TPE tears (my own fault), before I learned how to take better care of/with them. I have not had any Skeleton Breaks, with any of mine. I personally find the Value of these Dolls incredible…they’re Beautiful, fun time is intense and real, and with reasonable care, they have been durable, for me…

I guess you never posted your 135cm Doll, on either of the Big Doll Forums…and, I understand…it is a real hassle posting Pictures, on those Forums.

    Does she have stiff Hips?

👍 I have bought 2 Dolls, this year…both 135cm size. One did have a stiff hip Joint, when I first got her, but, it loosened up, with some use…

And, you are right that the Forum has dramatically slowed down… During the Pandemic it was going like gangbusters, as were the Sales of these Dolls. I imagine that most folks getting back to working, full time, plus the big downturn in the Economy, has a lot to do with it…

I read on one of your comments that one of your 135cm tight leg loosened up after some use. About how long did that take and did you have to shot any oil into her hip?

I remember it taking a couple of Weeks, maybe using her 4-5 Times…and it just started moving up and down, easier…it was the right Hip Joint, on this Doll. I did not inject any Oil into the Joint…I personally have not had any success with that technique. I wish that technique would work…as I do have one Doll, a 143cm Doll, that is 2 Years old, and her right Hip has become very stiff…

I appreciate the fact that they are priced low for people who want to get into and try out the doll lifestyle. I might not still be in it if not for them. Dave seems to be a decent guy to work with here as well. The pictures on their site truly reflect what you are getting and that is always the mark of an honest company. The dolls are beautiful as the members on here have shown through their photography.

The flip side is that the skeletons are not durable. I have had two crack at the hip (the welds were not good after examination) and another crack at the back. I only did missionary with them knowing that the skeletons were weak. Some the legs barely moved, some too much (which is actually better). Also they don't replace broken ones without you having to pay a decent amount which I guess makes sense although I don't like it. Quality control is a major issue. I never had one last more than 6 months.

If they could ensure the quality of the skeleton and make sure the welding jobs on them were solid they would have one of the best followings around possibly. Their faces and bodies as well as pricing are just as good as major doll brands.

I agree totally and it would not cost that much to check for the correct tightness on the joints. I thank it would get them a lot more business because their reviews would be off the chart. They are beautiful but I can't see troughing 4 or 5 hundred bucks just to not be able to use them.
