So, I’ve purchased a doll. im a married man. i have no problems with my wife, I love her with all my being. The doll I’ve purchased is not to replace her. I hope that she will be the outlet that I require. I can’t wait until she finally arrives. I orderer an Isabella doll two Weeks ago and she’s now lost in the FedEx system. Im so concerned that they’ll deliver to my house instead of the Walgreens I chose, that im losing my mind. Help me!
So I have the 145cm Jennifer with the standable feet and keep seeing a good option for cleaning the exterior of the dolls is in the shower, I'm curious if the standing feet (since they're screws on the bottoms) would cause any damage to the tub or if the water from the shower itself would cause an issue with the screws, even more so since I have hard water where I live and our building has a water softener (it still leaves nasty yellow stains all over the tub and shower which I have to clean at least once a week or it starts turning a bright orange.) Given how much an issue staining can be with TPE, I'd rather not take the risk without getting some other ideas and/or possibly hearing some past experiences. (New apartment btw, old one didn't have hard water so it wasn't such a problem.)
Aside for the obvious answer, "lay them down" I want to know if it's safe to prop a non-standing doll upright and keep her there for long durations at a time. I have a very small space for storing the doll I'm going to be ordering (the 125cm Anna, which does not stand on her own) and there's only enough room to keep her upright. I know there are hangers for storing these dolls on a hook, but can I do this without a hanger? Can I keep her standing up in the shipping box she comes in? Thanks for your input!
