Everyone, allow me to introduce you to Lyra (125cm Anna). She arrived yesterday evening and has lit up my world ever since.

She is perfection. We spent the night getting to know each other.

She is just the cutest, sweetest, and most adorable. She's my first doll, and I have to say, I am literally in love.

Of course, shes not totally innocent..hehe. This was taken right before we went to bed.

And here she is this morning with the evident bedhead.
I am 1000 percent in love with her. However, I do have a couple of questions to help make her life here better.
First, I'm horrible with wigs, as is evidenced in the last picture. Any advice on how to properly style them and/or fit them to her head?
Second, I'm sure this has already been answered, but she obviously can't wear that same outfit forever. What size should I look for? The sizing on the tag from this outfit is Chinese I assume, and have no idea how to convert that to US sizing.
Nice, dude. Glad she arrived safely and even more that You're happy and loving her!
Nice name btw.
Also, that back joint is a bit awkward but it's what gives her the arch when she's in the doggy position.
I have the same doll and her back joint bends super easily. Make sure you put one hand on her lower tummy right above her vagina when you bend her legs straight into a sitting position. Otherwise the force will transfer and she will bend at the waist instead. After a couple of months of playing, some joints have loosened considerably and some remain stiff.
On the hair: Detangler + comb is a great start but I suggest shampooing and conditioning her wigs regularly and invest in a wig hanger for drying ($8 on Amazon). Use mild shampoo and conditioner and comb it as it dries. Her hair will look gorgeous! I suggest getting good with hair clips to keep it out of her eyes too.
@rk105rider thank you so much for the information! I did find her comb, and it has greatly improved the appearance of her hair. And I plan on taking her online shopping to find her some cute outfits and dresses in the sizes you mentioned.
There is, however, one issue I have noticed since her arrival. It would appear her spine is somewhat weak, as it attempted to bend in an inappropriate manner this morning as I was raising her to a seated position for the day. It's not a major issue, just something I will need to be aware of when moving/posing her. Though, with that knowledge, I may try to go for a larger, more sturdy model in the future. I am still just as in love with her, and she's a wonderful cuddler! My perfect little spoon. <3
Congratulations on her safe arrival, and Lyra is a great name! She is beautiful...
Regarding keeping her hair straight, and looking good....the Comb included in the little bag of care supplies, is what I use, for keeping my Girls Wigs combed and for getting tangles and knots out. I also occasionally use a Detangler, I bought in the ladies hair Care Aisle, on some of the longer Wigs... The Shedding of hair, from the Wig, will stop after the first couple of times, you comb it out...
For Clothing...Toddler 4-6 sizes or extra small on any ladies sizes....Shoes will be Children’s size 10-12, or the smallest size you can get, in Ladies Shoes; usually 5 in American Size, occasionally 3.5 or 4 off EBay...
I do recommend you read through the Forum, on any posts regarding Color Choices, for Clothing. Basically, avoid leaving any Dark Colored Clothing on her, for very long, to avoid any possible staining, of her TPE Skin...
