I know several of you are really good with repair and maintenance ... I’m running into a few basic beginner doll owner things that I would like to learn about. I had a warming blanket on Katie for a couple hours which was probably fine but after I turned it off and cuddled her to sleep with her the weight of the blankets bent her toes too much overnight and I’m pretty sure they’re permanently messed up...not really wanting to try to fix them maybe just put some cute socks on her. Also as expected, because I’m pretty thick, there is some slight tearing just inside her vagina. I was thinking about clipping it with tiny scissors but also some of you were talking about adhesives and melting. Thanks to Fantastic Plastic for all your tips!
Hi might want to try small low cut socks, 7-2 or 5-9 girls size, and eventually it may straighten toes, I buy mine in lighter pastel colors. They also have out there "finger toe" socks where each toe is separate in socks like gloves.
I recently received my doll yesterday and had a few problems as the foot had some toes bent weird and there are abrasion on the same foot I might have cased. Around here volva is a tear/cut and what are the best way to fix this glue or heat and how to go about using heat if that's the answer.
These Dolls are amazing as this is Alice "38" should have got Isabella much lighter and was original choice. I love my Doll and have really started to bond to her. I can't explain it.

In fact, I suggest you get the toy torso like shown, use it and then practice fixing it!
I was just thinking it would be nice to have a large sample of the TPE material to practice repairs on. That way when i need to fix my first girl, i will have some practice in repairing. Anyone know of where we could get some sample TPE material for practice?
I’m curious how the dolls feel that have a removable vagina if anyone has that type from another vendor? I was looking at getting one a year ago and they had the option of removable or permanent and I was trying to ask questions but the company was in China and didn’t really understand what I was saying but to me it seems like it would be less intimate and less realistic however a great way for cleaning and if it’s damaged; easy and inexpensive fix.
Thanks guys! I have a small surface abrasion on her inner thigh so I will try hair dryer and or heat gun. I have a wood burner and maybe a soldering iron but will be careful. If anyone needs a skeleton fixed I have a MIG welder. 😬
I use a heat gun for surface repair like abrasions and scuffs.
Surface has to be totally clean and powder free, and of course stress free.
A hair dryer could warm her little toes up, but I would still be very careful.
Yes the toes may come back if you leave them in an opposite direction.
Tearing is always happening on a doll if she’s used a lot.
i always have to repair the opening and get it much more durable in the process.
Its a little more than I can really post , but I basically use an adjustable heat soldering iron to melt the damage back together and virtually re-sculpt it as well.
This HAS to be done while the TPE is in a relaxed state without being under any stress.
