Just got my Lucy 145cm (The invoice says 150cm? - I haven't had a chance to measure, yet). Killer-fast shipping! I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the skeletons. I checked the FAQ but couldn't find anything there. I'd like to know where all of the joints are and what range of bending they have so I don't accidentally break the skeleton.
I truly appreciate any knowledge passed on and am very grateful!
Thanks,
D.M.
They are basic skeletons like most dolls today. The fingers are wired and can be very weak. The ankles are a crapshoot as i have had them loosen up the day i got them or arrived loose and floppy. The knees, elbows and wrists bend. The back is the what you have to be careful bending. Don’t overdo it and never force a stiff joint as it could snap or shear off at the welds which sometimes are subpar. It’s a crapshoot. Some people are lucky and get a solid doll and others have lots of issues. Good luck and just be careful is the best advice I can give you as I have had several of these dolls.
