Well, I finally did it!
I gave Amelia a standing heel modification.
I would not recommend it though, the stainless steel on the foot plate is incredibly hard to drill.
This is the actual doll that is pictured on this site thats on the bed. (That’s the very bed she lived under all this time!)
She now can stand up with the whole gang now!😊

Show us more. This started as a non-standing doll and you made her into standing? Wow very cool!
Yes, she started as a non standing doll.
It’s simple in theory; cut hole in foot, drill hole, tap hole, insert screw.
Problem is the stainless steel that the feet are made from is incredibly tough and hard to drill.
(If anyone thinks they can tell me how to drill it easily, please don't waste your time, I know exactly what I’m doing)
I didn’t take any pictures, but I also did the same to a WM 165.
Same exact operation.
Same exact pain in the ass.
That‘s really cool that you figured out how to do that!
Thanks, it may not be possible on all doll makes and models.
Some have plastic/resin foot bone and some have gooseneck ankles.
@fantansicplastic I would like to have “Standing” Feet, on my 100cm Dolls. I may have to give it a try, over the Winter...
I don’t think it can be done on a 100.
The foot is rather flimsy and isn’t hinged.
She is really cute !
Congrats! Drilling stainless steel is a P.I.A. by any process. It's both super-hard and super gummy. I've done it in a lathe and it sux. I'd call this a definite win!
Thanks, I’ve drilled, machined, turned and ground all types of stainless steel for my day job.
Believe me, the foot plates on dolls are exceptionally hard to drill.
