So I have decided to purchase one of the dolls, but I am curious about a few details that don't seem to be covered in the FAQ and that nobody has asked within this forum. It would be my first doll purchase (I don't count the incredibly cheap blow-ups I seemed to enjoy in my 20's), so I am unfamiliar with a few things that might seem routine to those who have owned them before. In no particular order:
1.) What is the best way to store them (I don't believe the doll I am considering is a stand-up model)?
2.) How does the wig fit/stay in place? If I move the doll across the pillow, will I have to be adjusting the wig so it doesn't fall off?
3.) I see the USB warmer, but that is presumably for just the openings. Is there a simple way to warm the body itself (warm bath, electric blanket, regular blanket, etc.)?
4.) Store them clothed or naked?
Thanks in advance for your opinions/answers.
I will answer the best I can.
1. I store my dolls standing up, leaning against a wall with a pillow in the small of their backs, but you mentioned that yours doesn't have standing feet, so to my knowledge the best way to store her is in her natural position as she came out of the box, laying preferably on some memory foam.
2. The wig is held on by tension, there are adjustable straps on the wig you adjust to hopefully stay in place. Can't guarantee it won't come off during play time. But it should stay on decent once you get it on good.
3. Yes, the USB warmer is for warming her holes, but if you do use the one provided, you need to keep an eye out that it doesn't get too hot. I've had one start melting, but luckily caught it in time so no real damage caused. Yes, you can use a heating blanket, but would suggest using the lowest setting. As too much heat can cause compression marks in the tpe. So don't leave her wrapped up any longer than need be.
4. You can store clothes, but make sure items are light colored and not too tight, also if she's stored laying down clothes can cause compression marks on the tpe if left for long periods of time. If storing laying down I'd probably recommend storing naked with her blanket over her to keep dust off.
Also, since this is your first tpe doll, keep in mind her fingers are overly fragile, and to not keep her legs spread too far apart or arms up too long as it can stress the tpe, also dark clothes can cause staining so if put in anything dark, you may want to test it some how, or just keep the dark clothes on for a very limited time. this goes for any brand tpe doll you buy and not just MLD dolls.
I would add: make sure you clean her out as soon as you finish. I would recommend at least one USB aquarium pump to dry out whichever orifice you used after she's cleaned out. I would recommend a second pump for her mouth if you're going to be french kissing her. Cornstarch baby powder and a makeup brush to keep her skin from becoming tacky and sticking to everything.
Thank you alexchangander for the information, I been reading all the post i can to learn as much as i can. I seen post/comment about the USB pump before and at first i thought it was water pump to help clean the love holes. Now i see it id for drying so i looked and found one on Amazon that is a dual outlet so could dry 2 love holes at once. Although i believe the water pump would be good idea for cleaning her out more thorough maybe. I am still a virgin to all this and learning everything i can.
@Johnny I would recommend not spending too much on pumps, I bought both of mine on Ebay for less than $10 each.
@alexchangander Awesome advice, Amazon had them both for about $15 all together, I was also thinking of just going to Wal-Mart and see what they had in stock. I will check Ebay also
I have successfully used an electric blanket on low-medium setting to warm myself and my two dolls. I don't wrap them in the blanket. I simply cover them with it for about an hour before our nightly routine. The TPE is still cool to the touch but after a minute or two of physical activity, they are warm enough to snuggle up with.

Virgin olive oil will remove stains caused by leaving clothes on , may take a few times
Interesting, had not consider it, I normally use coconut oil on a regular basis and occasionally mineral oil for cleaning.
