I thought if you applied makeup to the lips, nipples, & labia you could permanently color them. So, it simply wears off and has to be reapplied basically every use? That is disappointing for sure.
@r.jewell81 I think I remember reading on tdf or odc someone talking about the paint. Problem is it peels off. I seen pics of someone who was trying acrylic paint and it made them look fake to me. It was not good.
@Kevin SHEPPARD https://yhst-172588225-1.stores.yahoo.net/bodycolor.html teach, it was on tdf that I saw it, and yes it peels off eventually, but just another option. Was thinking about picking up some white for the "teeth" on one of my dolls so she has a prettier smile when taking photos.
@r.jewell81 I would think that a clear sprayed over the makeup, while it might protect the makeup from external smudging or removal, would end up cracking when skin it is applied to is pressed. Also i don't see how that would protect the makeup from being absorbed into the tpe.
Yeah, tan is my favorite, but I couldn’t resist the incredibly low prices that I got my MLD collection as. Kinda wish I would have waited. But oh well.
At least their fair fleshtone isn’t transparent like I’ve seen on some other makes.
That really is annoying.
looks like MLD will be rounding out their options in the future possibly.
@jpop379 oh my chocolate powder added. That wouldn't last me no time. I'd not be able to keep off the nipples if had chocolate on them for sure. Tpe wouldn't get a chance to absorb any color!
@Kevin SHEPPARD The metallics used to bother me as well until I figured out that it doesn’t go into the TPE really.
A damp cloth will wash most of it away but leaving the color behind.
Also, I’ve seen pictures that confirm what I’ve heard and that is that some manufacturers use an oil based paint on nipples and vagina, I’ve seen factory pictures of dolls with what appears to be something so dark coating the nipple that it almost looks black.
so it appears that some may use an extremely dark color paint of sorts to stain the TPE.
@Fantastic Plastic yeah, I'm discovering that the metallic tends to come off easily which is great because I have several different shades of foundations and blushes. I remember seeing a video of using lipstick and then dabbing away the excess also but didn't like the results as much even though the tpe tended to really soak in the color. Was too glossy.
I hope so, I've seen as many as five skin tones to choose from on some TPE dolls- from goth pale to the darkest African hue. I would love to have a truly dark skinned doll to live out some fantasies with.
This is what I saw. Who knows... It was in this thread here. https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=426&t=105247
Ummm... this is what the paint looks like on a TPE doll. This is the cinnamon paint I'll pass.😐

Wonder if they will be adding more brown areola dolls? Currently there is only 1 (The mature doll) I'm thinking they would look good with a tan body.
Do you think they will bring in darker colors or different ethnicities?
Oh, that's exciting, wonder if it's going to stretch across the product line!
